Worship Arts Connections
At RMCC, the Worship Arts and Music Department is comprised of a plethora of the arts. God’s love is passionately celebrated through music, movement and liturgical theater. If you have a praise in your heart, we would love for you to explore our talented worship arts ministry!
GOSPEL ENSEMBLE
Directed by Kedric Brown, this group sings music in the African-American Gospel tradition, traditional spirituals, and contemporary music of all types. Reading music is not required for this group. You will need the ability to match pitch and sing a part separate from the melody.
SANCTUARY CHOIR
Directed by Evan Whitaker, this group sings mostly traditional church choral music with some contemporary music from time to time. Reading music is not required for this group. You will need the ability to match pitch and sing a part separate from the melody.
FOREVER BLEST
Forever Blest is a quartet lead by Marjory "Mojo" Johnston with a focus on southern gospel music with a focus on acapella and harmony style. Get ready to hear music that will make you tap your foot and put a big smile on your face! Participation is by invitation and audition only
DANCE MINISTRY
Directed by Dominique Williams, Devotion in Motion showcases various forms of movement through liturgical and lyrical dance inspiration. The ministry is beginner friendly and is currently seeking individuals that would like to explore and embrace God’s love in a body positive atmosphere!

CHILDRENS PROGRAMING
Our children are seeds planted. We are here to grow and nurture young spirits and introduce ways to explore Christian love and learning. Our Children's Church coordinator is Debbie Mansfield, beloved teacher and guide to our nursery and children's programming. We welcome children ages 0-12 during service times.
JUSTICE MINISTRY
The Justice Ministry is a group for those wanting to impart change in culture, the political process, and community needs based on events in local and state interest.
CAMPUS CARE
Caring for the Resurrection MCC campus is a labor of love! Connect With Resurrection each month as we put some TLC into the grounds, church and activities building.
DISASTER RECOVERY TEAM
To continue our service to the community, Resurrection MCC wants to be not only a spiritual refuge but also offer relief resources for the people in our local communities. We want to put "love in action" for those in need when disaster strikes.
SAFETY TEAM
A lot goes into each service and event that Resurrection MCC has on our campus. What we don't have is enough help with observing and maintaining health and safety measures for these gatherings. Can you help be an extra pair of eyes, a point of contact for questions, or help attendees with logistics and campus navigation? Then this is your calling!

USHERS
Connect With Resurrection Ushers and take attendance, collect the offering, help guests find a seat for worship, and direct folks seeking Holy Communion. There are 4 teams of 4-6 ushers. These teams have one Sunday a month and are led by a team lead. if you are available to serve one Sunday a month for either of our morning worship services and love to smile, we would love for you to join one of our usher teams. Ushers also provide support for special events and services when needed.
BOOKSTORE VOLUNTEERS
The Resurrection MCC bookstore is open each Sunday before and after each service. Explore
WELCOME CENTER
Welcome Desk Volunteers provide a warm and friendly welcome to those visiting our church. The volunteer gathers information on the visitor, answers questions, and invites visitors to upcoming activities and classes. Time commitment is approximately 30 minutes one Sunday per month.
LOAVES AND FISHES
This is the group that provides event hospitality at Resurrection MCC. Collectively Loaves and Fishes present a variety of ways in which you may serve. Whether your skill lies in setting up for or cleaning up from events, logistics, decorating, serving food, or cooking, Loaves and Fishes is the place to put your talents to good use.
